Therapy

The key to health and well-being

Holistic medicine:
Salutogenesis for body, mind and soul.

Healthcare for body, mind and soul - that is the credo,
which Dr. med. Harry F. König and his specialist colleagues place at the heart of their practice.

This holistic, holistic way of thinking and working leads to
interdisciplinary medicine, which is based on the three main
pillars of modern healthcare:

  • Classical medicine (conventional medicine) - Body
  • Complementary medicine (naturopathy) - Mind
  • Mental medicine - Soul
  • This concept is summarized in holistic medicine with a broad spectrum of diagnosis and therapy.

With their specific expertise, Dr. König & Kollegen stand for the contemporary and forward-looking approach of modern medicine: to optimally promote salutogenesis, the development and maintenance of health.

A personal discussion with the patient is extremely important for choosing the right treatment. We take a lot of time to explain the results of the examination in an understandable way and to discuss the next steps with you. It is also important for us to involve your partner or family where necessary and helpful.

This ensures that every patient receives an individualized and holistic prevention and treatment concept.

Homeosiniatry is the injection of homeopathic medicines into acupuncture points. The medical concept combines traditional Chinese medicine, in particular acupuncture, with the modern European-influenced homeopathy of the German doctor Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843).

The term homeosiniatry was coined by the Frenchman Roger de la Fuye (1890-1961), the founder of the French acupuncture movement. The combination of homeopathy and acupuncture is said to have a synergistic effect.

Acu-taping is a relatively new treatment method using tape bandages that is used in pain therapy, among other things. Based on the diagnostic and therapeutic principles of traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture, it is a further development of kinesiotaping.

In conventional medicine, tape bandages are used as rigid bandages to immobilize certain joints. Acute taping, on the other hand, uses stretchable tape bandages.

The tape bandages are applied over pre-stretched areas of the body. Thanks to its elasticity, the tape can flexibly follow every movement. This leads to a permanent displacement of the skin adhering to the tape against the subcutis. This has a similar effect to lymphatic drainage or a connective tissue massage: blood circulation and lymph flow are improved, tension in the skeletal muscles is reduced and pain is minimized.

  • Acute taping has proven effective for the following conditions:
  • Pain in the Achilles tendon area
  • Elbow pain
  • Joint pain
  • Joint effusions
  • Wrist pain
  • Hip and knee pain
  • Headache
  • Menstrual cramps
  • Muscle strains
  • Sore muscles
  • Back pain (cervical spine, thoracic spine, lumbar spine, coccyx)
  • Shoulder pain
  • Ankle pain
  • Pain from heel spurs.

The Acu-Tape can be left on the skin for a maximum of one week. This intensifies the therapy. We use Acu-Taping in a variety of successful ways, particularly in sports medicine.

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is more than just acupuncture. Today, TCM is practiced worldwide. Its practice requires an understanding of the causes of diseases and their pathological effects.

According to TCM, the human organism is in mutual contact with the environment. The various structures of the body, its organs and organ systems are also in constant communication in order to maintain the necessary balance to stay healthy. If this balance is disturbed, illness is the result.

All influences that disturb the balance of health and cause illness are called Bing-Yin (causes of illness) in Chinese medicine. They change the stable relationship between yin and yang in the direction of strength (sheng) or weakness (pian). The body's resistance (Zheng) is weakened by external disturbances (Xie).

Chinese medicine has been developing for more than 2,000 years. Through close observation, the ancient Chinese physicians recognized that very different factors can lead to illness, including climate change, infectious diseases, mental excitement, dietary errors, overexertion and injuries.

In order to understand and successfully treat the causes of illness, a sound diagnosis is a prerequisite (TCM diagnosis). The subsequent treatment can consist of the following components:

  • Acupuncture (needles or laser)
  • Chinese phytotherapy (herbal therapy)
  • Chinese dietetics
  • Moxibustion (heating of acupuncture points)
  • Qigong (Chinese form of meditation, concentration and movement)
  • Cupping
  • Taijichuan (Chinese movement exercises)
  • Tuina (Chinese manual therapy)

In addition to TCM, we also carry out all western therapy methods if necessary.

Andullation therapy is classified as alternative medicine and is used to support existing therapies, to alleviate complaints and for prevention . Andullation is a biophysical therapy method that was developed in Switzerland around 15 years ago in the field of frequency medicine. Electromagnetic fields activate the metabolism and blood circulation. As a result, the body's functions can be brought back into balance and self-healing processes are stimulated.

What is Adullation Therapy used for?

Andullation therapy is used in our practice for the following complaints:

  • Complaints in the area of the spine
  • Complaints of the nervous system
  • Acute and chronic states of exhaustion

How does adullation therapy work?

The electromagnetic fields are emitted from an induction couch on which the patient lies during the therapeutic application. The great variability of the frequency ranges results in an extremely wide range of applications for adullation therapy.

Nutritional therapy

Nutritional therapy

The aim of nutritional medicine is to uncover the individual nutrition-related causes of illnesses together with the patient. Through our targeted advice in modern diagnostics and changes to dietary habits and lifestyle, numerous illnesses can be prevented and cured.

Diet-related diseases include, among others:

  • Allergies
  • Arteriosclerosis with concomitant diseases such as stroke, heart attack and peripheral arterial occlusive disease
  • Increase in blood lipid levels
  • Hypertension
  • Gout and degenerative joint diseases
  • Skin diseases
  • Cancer diseases
  • Pulmonary dysfunction with sleep apnea
  • Gastrointestinal diseases
  • Food intolerances
  • Overweight
  • Diabetes (type II diabetes)

Gynecological and psychiatric illnesses can also be the result of malnutrition and overeating. However, malnutrition (e.g. iodine, vitamin C) can also cause serious illnesses that must be treated with nutritional medicine before medication is used.

As part of our nutritional therapy, we place great emphasis on cleansing and regenerating the digestive tract through fasting. The focus here is on an individualized, diagnostically based change in diet according to the nutritional psychology principles of Dr. König.

Fasting supports the immune system and activates the body's self-healing powers. Metabolic diseases, chronic illnesses and functional digestive disorders can be cured. Your quality of life and performance are significantly improved.

An important part of a regenerative treatment at Dr. König & Kollegen is the abdominal treatment, a type of lymphatic drainage with special breathing exercises. The abdominal lymphatic system is activated, abdominal and intestinal tension is improved, diaphragmatic breathing is reactivated and the autonomic nervous system is balanced. If necessary, we also successfully use colon hydrotherapy for even more intensive intestinal cleansing.

In addition to a change in dietary behavior, a successful dietary change also includes additional lifestyle changes. Relaxation and exercise are the keys to a new, energetic attitude to life. Personal self-esteem increases, independence and personal responsibility are promoted. Performance is fundamentally improved through physical and mental well-being.
