Therapy

The key to health and well-being

Holistic medicine:
Salutogenesis for body, mind and soul.

Healthcare for body, mind and soul - that is the credo,
which Dr. med. Harry F. König and his specialist colleagues place at the heart of their practice.

This holistic, holistic way of thinking and working leads to
interdisciplinary medicine, which is based on the three main
pillars of modern healthcare:

  • Classical medicine (conventional medicine) - Body
  • Complementary medicine (naturopathy) - Mind
  • Mental medicine - Soul
  • This concept is summarized in holistic medicine with a broad spectrum of diagnosis and therapy.

With their specific expertise, Dr. König & Kollegen stand for the contemporary and forward-looking approach of modern medicine: to optimally promote salutogenesis, the development and maintenance of health.

A personal discussion with the patient is extremely important for choosing the right treatment. We take a lot of time to explain the results of the examination in an understandable way and to discuss the next steps with you. It is also important for us to involve your partner or family where necessary and helpful.

This ensures that every patient receives an individualized and holistic prevention and treatment concept.

Hormone treatment with bioidentical hormones

Hormone treatment with bioidentical hormones

make an appointment now

Our well-being depends on many factors - social, physical and emotional. One very important factor is a healthy hormonal balance. The topic of hormones affects women and men of all ages, but also children and adolescents.

Therapy is preceded by a thorough physical examination and a comprehensive medical history. This results in targeted laboratory tests that reveal deficits and surpluses in the hormone balance.

A blood test is used to determine the sex hormones as well as cortisol, melatonin and DHEA. The thyroid hormone levels are determined in parallel.

The subsequent therapy with bioidentical hormones aims to bring the hormones back into balance individually. Bioidentical hormones are hormones without artificial laboratory chemical changes. They are exactly the same as the hormones produced by the body itself.

The therapy also includes the elimination of disruptive factors and advice on a hormone-friendly diet and lifestyle. This also includes taking a critical look at the cosmetics used: According to BUND, almost a third of cosmetics and personal care products contain hormonally active chemicals that can damage health. BUND has developed an app that you can use to check your care products. It is called ToxFox and can be downloaded for Android or Iphone.

High-dose vitamin therapy

High-dose vitamin therapy

In addition to high-dose vitamin therapy, orthomolecular medicine is discussed below in the context of complementary tumor and cancer therapy.

A balanced diet is also the basis for maintaining and restoring health in tumor therapy. In addition to oxygen, our organism absorbs the necessary chemical building blocks for all metabolic processes through our diet.

However, various studies show that a balanced diet with proteins, carbohydrates and fats is not sufficient to provide all the nutrients required for healthy cell metabolism, the corresponding energy balance, cell regeneration and the control of bodily functions.

On the one hand, the quality of our food has deteriorated significantly, and on the other, many of the so-called vital substances are no longer available in sufficient quantities in our diet. Our body is therefore dependent on supplementary vital substances in the form of vitamins and trace elements, fats, amino acids and enzymes. Orthomolecular medicine makes use of this knowledge and substitutes these substances. The aim is to prevent deficiency symptoms and compensate for deficiencies.

Many diseases, especially cancer, show a significantly increased need for vital substances. Cancer patients in particular often have a pronounced imbalance between calorie and vital substance intake, impaired liver, intestinal and kidney function and a weakened immune system. The latter is often also due to chemotherapeutic, radiological and surgical therapies, which have numerous side effects.

Vitamins, vital substances and antioxidants administered before, during and after chemotherapy offer healthy cells optimized protection against the side effects of conventional cancer treatment. They also offer protection against new cell degeneration.

In addition to selenium, zinc, methionine and vitamins A, C and E, other antioxidants and various enzymes, amino acids also play an important role in our complementary therapy. These can be supplied to the body both orally (by mouth) and by infusion.

The orthomolecular concomitant therapy offered in our practice by means of peroral and intravenous substitution of vitamins, antioxidants and enzymes strengthens the body's own defenses and can help to slow tumor growth. It increases the individual tolerance of conventional conventional medical therapy and can prevent recurrence and metastasis.

High-dose vitamin therapy is also suitable for post-operative conditions and chronic illnesses such as prolonged infections. Our practice has developed specific combinations of medication in the form of infusion therapies that have a restorative and regenerative effect, alleviate therapy-related side effects and strengthen the body's own healing power.

Recovery work according to Dr. Carl Simonton

Recovery work according to Dr. Carl Simonton

make an appointment now

The American physician Dr. Carl Simonton (1942-2009) is one of the pioneers of psycho-oncology. He was a specialist in radiation medicine and oncology. Dr. Simonton developed a concept of imagination/visualization - one of the oldest forms of healing in the world - which has helped numerous patients to awaken their self-healing powers.

The patient is encouraged to focus on aspects of life that bring them joy and fulfillment and to develop corresponding perspectives. In this way, the power of imagination is used to support the effectiveness of treatment methods and activate physical recovery processes.

Further techniques of his work are:

  • Healthy thinking
  • Development of goals and beneficial perspectives
  • Turning to your personal inner source of strength

In this way, healing resources such as peace, confidence, joy and hope can be tapped.

In his seminars, Dr. Simonton repeatedly pointed out the effectiveness of the mind and explained how important and decisive our thoughts are for our health. His statement is: we are healthy by nature. We need more joy, especially in the things we do every day in relation to family, friends and work. We can strengthen our inner peace through our thoughts.

It has been proven that tumor growth is reduced when emotional stress is reduced. Emotional balance promotes recovery. This is why we attach great importance to a therapeutic concept that includes psychosomatic and psychotherapeutic aspects.

Mistletoe therapy

Detailed information

Mistletoe therapy

make an appointment now

Mistletoe therapy for cancer was developed by the founder of anthroposophy Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925) and the doctor Ita Wegman (1876-1943).

The white berried mistletoe (Viscum album) from various host trees is used. In our practice, mistletoe is used as a complementary cancer treatment for certain malignant tumors as a non-specific stimulation therapy.
Research results show that the immunological effect of mistletoe is very complex. Mistletoe is probably one of the most studied medicinal plants. Over a thousand ingredients have been discovered to date.

Various ingredients have been shown individually and in extracts in vitro to have a cytotoxic effect and to induce programmed cell death, known as apoptosis. They promote angiogenesis (growth of blood vessels) and can protect cell DNA or help repair radiation-induced DNA damage. Natural killer cells, B and T lymphocytes, granulocytes, monocytes, macrophages and dendritic cells are stimulated and positively influenced in their behavior, and many cytokines are induced. Mistletoe extracts were antitumorally effective in a series of animal experiments.

As a rule, the mistletoe extract is injected under the skin (subcutaneously) by the patient or, in a clinical setting, directly into the tumor tissue by doctors. Other forms of administration such as infusions are also possible. In our practice, we offer subcutaneous application and show patients and/or family members how to use the therapy.
